Here's Simon Mycock, who had a bit of a shaky start (I seem to remember right back at the beginning something about flopping a set of Kings, and then Matey hitting a flush) but he was on 13,500 right before the dinner break, which is now over.

is he wearing  a   fullon  poker shirt?

No, the other guy.  Kind of woolly jumper of indeterminate colour.

John Shipley knocks out William Thorson (aside - apparently after his name, which actually has two S's in it, was misspelt in the US, he's kind of just gone with the new spelling now):

A triple raise preflop, getting the majority of Thorson's stack in the middle, and quite a bit of John Shipley's, and the rest going in on the Jack-high flop.
William Thorson's A-A had been spiked by J-J, and the Shipley set sent one of the favourites to the rail...

Thanks for the heads up, Suffolkpunch...

129 players remaining.

Still half an hour left at the 150/300 ante 25 level.

John Shipley is up to 26,400 after betting 4.5k into a 5k pot on the River of a three diamonds .

Vivi Saethren was on the receiving end, and it took her an age to come to a decision. Eventually she folded, asking "Did you have A-J?"

Funnily enough, John just blanked her, to which Vivi added, "I think you had A-J."

Am I missing something here?... why didn't she call then?

Rob Hollink is drinking on the sidelines, so he's either transformed into a raging alcoholic who can't bare to be away from the bar, or, more likely, he's out.

He's on his 12th pint. Good showing from the Burnley lad.

Following from that, some counts from here and there:

Kim Vevle        ?missing, presumed OUT

just talked to him, and he was holding up on ca 15 000, lets just hope he hasn't been knocked out since then

Sorry, found him again - stack grown to healthy-looking 27k or so.

Roy Brindley takes on another shorter stack, now that he's over 18k himself -

He raises to 800 preflop, called only by the big blind.
Flop:  two hearts.  Check-check
Turn:    Big blind checks, Roy bets 1k, gets check raised to 2,500 and does an instant deep reach to cover the other guy with a chunk of blue chips.  Dwell for a good five minutes before he passes, showing and gives it to The Boy.

The players are now on a 15 minute break. As they exited, I recall John Conroy saying that he had 24 thousand. Not bad seeing that the average is still only 16k.
