Aces, you need to tell people how they can go about buying shares, or have you, it seems so long ago   lol

I dont want to sound funny but the amount of egotistical wannabes on here why are you not joining yourselves? ok bankroll may be an issue but surely this is better than buying shares in  ac ad`s. With this in mind I propose that someone "invests" the full 6K in me, plus another grand on my expenses. In return you can have 60% of any winnings.

if you have permission from the site you are cutting and pasting from to cut and paste there stuff then fine but check with tikay about putting up links to sites that could be classed as compertition they wont link it if we go on about blonde on there site

would have to disagree with that one ironside - i have put a blonde link up for rob young and the betfair police havent taken it down and very much doubt wether it will - i know you dont like the betfair forum or many of its players but there are a lot who are members of both camps - and as tikay i am sure will confirm  we aint a bad lot

The event we are referring to is limited to 48 runners, and only 8 of these spaces are open to qualifiers via Wm Hill.

Simple as that really, we're not able to play ourselves

I'll have 1%, not much but it all counts.  How do we pay?

Just of interest, if there are 56 players paying £6000 with £114000 of added money then each seat is worth a little over £8000.  Thus the offer of 1% for £75 seems perfectly reasonable, providing of course Simon doesn't sell 100% or more!  I'll pay whatever everyone else is.

Cheers,

Dan.

As it goes Tight End i also have the offer of a place in this tournament but due to the wild swings in my bankroll i dont think i can really commit 6k towards it. I also feel i have the game for this format having come 2nd in my one previous attempt at this format which will be shown on the Poker Channel next Thursday night. If anyone would like to purchase any % shares in me also at cost price please PM me. I would probably need to offload 50% to play comfortably but may be able to do some of this offline.

I think Simon and I Know It missed the point a bit with the edge over the field.

When someone asks to back me. If I asked for 10% with 7.5% return of the profit to them, my justification would be that this is my job. It is what I do for a living. The hours I spend playing poker pay for the food in my fridge and for daughter's school clothes. More importantly though, the 25% has to cover petrol, hotels, flights, juice on most tournaments and general expenses.

It's not a matter of being greedy. It's just a fair deal all round.

Ok , so far 18% has been requested , 3 @ 5% , 1 @2% and 1 @ 1%

Thanks for your interest and also a big thanks for Dave explaining in a much better way why there is normally 25% juice .

Unless i can sell a further minimum of 49% leaving me a balance of £2000 to pay , it will depend on my results at the Vic , once i have finished there next Sunday , if i intend to play i will then give you details on how to pay for the shares by email.

Thanks

How about if you ask them for backing, if it would be the only way you would get to play.
Would you do an equal % to £

i have nothing against betfair or any of its forum members

infact i had a lovely dinner with ruru(betfair) and alrightjack(bluesq) in blackpool earlier this year
