Mini League

Something that interested me in the paper today was a mini league table of the top 4 only counting results against each other.
After todays game the table would look like this with all 4 teams having played 4 games:

Arsenal  10 points
Chelsea 5 points
Man Utd 4 points
Liverpool 3 points

Not sure what this tells us, as Arsenal are top of this min league but only 4th in the premiership. Perhaps Arsenal are motivated by playing big teams and not when they play the rest e.g. losing to my lot (City)?
