The Boyd's have released the source code for Poker Spot. I know nothing about computers but doesn't this mean that some clever kids can play around with this and probably tweek it into playable poker software?

So pretty much anyone now can open up their own poker site? There may be some interesting possibilities that come out of this no?

Yes, but it's several years old so probably needs a lot of tweaking and then there's the other barriers to cross - banking, marketing etc.

Persuading people that it's secure when it's based on open source code might be quite hard as well.
