I was more thinking he would show AQ KQ , as others have suggested he would really have overplayed a set badly in that spot so i ruled that out

Probably not a great move on his part as it's a difficult laydown for you.  I only suggested calling because of pot odds.  Difficult to know if he just is an idiot or making this move in the hope of getting paid in the future if he plays a set/2pr the same way.

I know it reads funny but what I mean is that I never have less than the max buy-in at any table. If I fall below 100BB I always top up.
