End of Over 40: 223-1, runrate=5.58
End of Over 48: 237-10, runrate=4.94

That's how to score runs in the last 10!

My number 3

47.6 4 Gore to Collis
The straight drive bisects the field. Shot of the day so far!
And that's a century for Collis! Well played indeed Sir!

WOOOO-HOOOOOOOOO

259-2 to 297 all out.  Yet another woeful collapse which cost me 20-30 runs i reckon.  Still at least I have a total to defend, just need to hope for some economical bowling as I cant see me bowling them out.

Innings complete

End of Over 50: 362-2, runrate=7.24

Hope my bowlers have had a nice rest during that.

Now to bowl them out.

playing the top of the league team today on a batsmans pitch.
after being pleased to have them at 210/4 after 45 overs , slightly disappointed to concede 60 runs in the last 5  overs.

need my batters to perform today

End of Over 50: 283-8, runrate=5.66
Berry 10-0-49-3
Hindle* 19 (20 balls)
Riley 5 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Vermaak b. Berry 31 (FOW: 266/8)

I think providing my new batting additions are up to scratch and i dont go thru another middle order batting collapse that this is an achievable total Smiley

after the first over i think i might struggle

these bowlers seem to be on a mission

at least no first over wicket

0.6 . Mcdougal to Facey
Gloved to the keeper, huge appeal, but no reply from the umpire. Mcdougal looks dejected, Mansfield at slip looks like he could kill!
0.5 1 Mcdougal to Mainey
    Driven to mid off.
0.4 . Mcdougal to Mainey
Forward, on the pads, Botha running wide to field.
0.3 . Mcdougal to Mainey
Thank heavens for protective equipment. Mcdougal surprised Mainey with that delivery. Uncomfortable position to be struck to say the least. No run.
0.2 . Mcdougal to Mainey
Mcdougal decides it's time for some chin music. That whistled past Mainey's nose.
0.1 . Mcdougal to Mainey
Mcdougal to Mainey, no run, on leg, Mainey tries to swivel that through square, fails to connect and ends up doing a dainty pirouette to make Billy Elliot proud.

me too Sad

1.4 W Hindle to Tortoishell
Tortoishell drives hard but the swing beats him, edged to the keeper for an easy catch.

My big new batting signing lasts all of 3 balls......

2.5 W Mcdougal to Lenka
He's hit it high, really high. Was surely going for six until Barraclough just managed to claw it to his grasp. Lenka will be disappointed with that one.
2.4 W Mcdougal to Facey
Edged off the toe of the bat and it's Christmas come early for Botha.

And that's the end of the match. TractorX1 won by 10 wickets.
Berkshire 146-10
TractorX1 147-0

End of Over 20: 147-0, runrate=7.35
Pouton 4-0-34-0
Willem* 73 (55 balls)
 72 (60 balls)

Wish it was allways that easy!
