not sure whether my opponent has given up or my bowlers are just too good!!

End of Over 43: 225-1, runrate=5.23, reqrunrate=13.14 (316-8)
Berry 7-0-36-0
Dickinson* 104 (122 balls)
Mcveigh 58 (62 balls)

Last Wicket: Yorke b. Clare 50 (FOW: 118/1)

His batsmen just keep taking singles and not really pushing the run rate at all, got wickets in hand too

And that's the end of the match. Bigglesthwaite CC won by 59 runs.

Happy days!

Playing bottom of the league next week so I should hopefully be able to make it 5 wins from 7 and solidify myself in 3rd place!

phew.............

46.3 W Berry to Dickinson
Dickinson lets a straight one go and it's taken his middle stump, poor batting.

Thats his opener gone for 125 - and hopefully any chance of him winning the match with it!!

And that's the end of the match. Matts Monkeys won by 26 runs.
Matts Monkeys 316-8
Shirey CCB 290-2

For a team bottom of my league with no wins the new manager has got one or two decent players transferred in so hopefully he'll take a few points from the other teams in my league. Its makes it rather interesting with 6 teams still in with a shout Smiley

Just got home to check out my result.
Was expecting a bit of a thumping against a team fighting for automatic promotion, so was pleasantly suprised when i post 213 all out after 46.4, and the oppostion as skittled out for 183.
I now have 12points, 5th place, and i think i now have a run of games against the lesser teams.
Maybe i can stay up this year after all.

The masterplan worked brilliantly.  Managed a last day pitch change, nice and dusty.  Caught the oppo out.  Sadly I forgot to change my team.  Schoolboy stuff.  Managed to scrape to 97 A/O with Casey carrying his bat again.  Polished off the runs against my pace attack (Spin bowler 5th lol) in 19 overs.

So the 'Great Unwashed' are ready for the 2nd Norfolk Knock Up - all the best Colonel.

Ramshire - great result today, many thanks.

How does the youth acadamy work? For the first few weeks it let me have 3 ITC's because i was only investing £2000 per week and the conditions were poor. Last week i decide to spend some money on bringing in fresh monkeys so i invest £20000 per week and raise conditions to proficient.

It gives me 10 ITC's and so i use 4 on batting and then 2 on stamina, consistency and concentration and it gives me this bag of spanners!! Sad

Does it get better the longer i keep spending the money and improving conditions?

Julian King (1345444)

nah the youth system is poor

you get the same player no matter the level of the YA but the better the YA the more ITS you can spend

i think its then 3 or 4 ITS per level so if you was going to get a worthless player and you spend 12 ITS on his batting you should get a FEEBLE player but if he was going to be medicore you will get respectable which is the best possible for a youth pull

its best to save up all your ITS for the first couple of weeks of the season IMHO

So if you dont promote a player each week it rolls over the ITC's? How long for? If i leave it for 5 or 6 weeks how good a player can you turn out?
