I'm in desperate need of a match winning bowler ( I believe) so am training up 2.

one 18 yo prof batting/prof bowling is getting very heavily netted to get him up to strong/superb asap

The other is 20yo prof batting/resp bowling who'll be sold once his secondaries are at least comp. That SHOULD hopefully give me enough to buy a superb bowler ( combined with current funds)

Is it just me or have cheap bargains become more rare the last few weeks.

same every season. there's less people using 35 ITS, more utter garbage, means a lot less on the market ( supply/demand)

The 1st day of my FC game was interesting.

All bowlers and most of my batsmans on defensive trying to scrape the draw.

They hit 512-4 dec and left us with 5 overs to negotiate.  In which time my openers hit 35!!

Great performance by my guys, batting through the day to reach 567-5, a lead of 55. Think I'll bat some more to guarantee the draw then have a right go at them!

Highlights of my second innings:
Unbeaten 188 for Clarke.
Not losing my an innings.

Ended up batting on to reach 715-6 dec, a lead of 203, and a chance to get lucky and bowl them out.

unsurprisingly, my 8k bowlers couldn't get out their 40k batters and they finished on 451-5.

Happy with the draw tho

OMG I have only won 3 games all year and 2 of those have been against the then league leaders.

When I woke this morning to see a Dusty pitch and both his 60kish BR players below sublime I knew I had a chance - if I remember right I beat him last game of the season to cost him the title last year - he must hate me.
I still have a massive fight to avoid relegation - if I could just stay in Div 5 in both leagues I have a great platform for next year.
Getting interesting now - if only the team one place above me would lose next week

easy win for me against a bot, will appease my supporters. Bowled them for 70 odd in 30 overs.
Knocked the runs off in 9 overs
