I'm 5th, playing 4th at home. Was a draw at their place with me fairly comfortably on top. I'll be tweaking things to try n sneak a win this time!

As usual Birchall got an unbeaten century, 137 no. Finished on 397-9. Going to declare on that, and hopefully have a good go at them tomorrow!

Indeed.. was thinking hard and fast though. Did that vs mattshire ( another damn good team) which worked. Also its a very small change from my usual pitch.

Hard and fast is slightly more difficult to bat on than flat I think, certainly against fast bowlers if he has any of those!

anyways today's game:

played another BOT.. with some damn good players..

They made 233AO, managed to get his 50k rated player out b4 he made a century, his other made 60odd but managed to bowl the rest out..considering I managed to bowl my low fitness all rounder by mistake I was fairly happy with that..made 234-4 in reply to win by 6 wickets, again Birchall the star with 92no.

I'm still in 2nd place, 16 points clear of 5th with a vastly superior NRR, so I SHOULD be safe to stay in this division this year..
