89? Who are you playing Bongo, England?

My decision to give the destructive med/feeb squad player a game is paying off, he's managed 43 off 32 so far, and my best batsman has just made a century to give him 1000 runs for the season (and only 10 games played too).

209-2 off 41 overs and much happier.

barry seems to prefer playing at 5

Zia 7-1-23-4

totally impressed with zia even if he lost 5 runs in that last over

now its times to see if my batsmen can knock that total off in 35 overs

Finished on a pleasing 280-6, which should be enough. I'll be finishing third in my league whatever happens with their innings but I'd like to see my new bet-the-farm £258K bowling all-rounder take a few wickets before next week's playoff!

354/2 my highest total to date.  Looked like i was going to fall short of the 350 mark but hammered 68 off the last 5 overs.

Prices seem high at the moment - I suppose a lot of playoff teams who aren't happy campers are going shopping - but I like the flexibility he gives my batting line up. I can put him at 4,7,8 or 9 in the order depending on who else I want to pick and how aggressive I want to be. He's also my best bowler (on paper) and easily my best fielder.

8 wicket win for me today.

Fielded first to save some fitness for Sunday.

I presume it's going to stay a Dusty pitch Bazza?

Methinks batting first was an error today.  Having my best batsman out there for 48overs isn't ideal prep for Sunday.  Bit of an oversight on my part.
