Cossie sold 2 proficient 17yos (1 bat, 1 bowl) for £200k each.
All other stats were pretty much useless.
£40k seems far too cheap, who's this simcity geezer?
Iron: I'd value concentration above fielding in a batsman. I'd like good fielding for sure, but wouldn't be wanting to pay good whack for a man without decent concentration - especially as concentration effects fielding too.
Those that don't care about the concentration aren't likely to care about his fielding.

i dont really want to train the guy or sell him he will do as a batsmen untill i get a few youngsters trained up

Fielding, WK or batting. (all do the same amount). As long as you have sports pyschs.
Secondaries go up quicker with age too.
Although still probably take 9 weeks a pop with 1 net. 4 weeks with 2 nets (of diff types e.g. bat and fielding).
