I'm not sure on either.
What are the orders relative too? If they are normalised to 20:20 then having everyone on very attack may not be a wise move!

in normall 20/20 you want batsmen hitting runs and quick no point doing a vaughan and wasting good balls when your attacting batsmen could be hittinhg

Yes, but if selecting normal has your batsmen trying to do that i.e. playing normal for a 20:20 then setting them to play very attacking for a 20:20 might lead to some mishaps.

what do you guys think about the bowling i assume all batsmen will be very aggressive so should we try and get em out with very aggressive bowling or go defensive and try and keep the runs down
Good question Iron, i was thinking the same exactly the same thing, any thoughts?

I'd be wanting my bowlers to be as economical as possible, even if it means sacrificing wicket taking ability. I doubt I could bowl any side that could make a game of it out in 20 overs so going for extra wickets at the expense of economy would seem costly.

But if your strike bowler(s) can get out their best batsmen cheaply the first few overs then it may be well worth the risk of them still trying to take wickets in the last over. I'm leaning towards the defensive route myself. I'm also trying an unorthodox RL 20/20 tactic of playing three spinners on a dusty pitch for my one (sob) home game.

What do you have to pay to get a decent player? 100k seems to get nothing I agree I keep getting re-raised off decent players i fear I am playing outside my roll. First two targets of the day both bowlers 1 spin 1 MF both with med Stam, Comp bowl and med con 88k and left in disgust at 80k on the other. I got no cash, no attack and few prospects. If I could only hit 400 every innings I might get a point or two, because most teams going to hit 350+ off me.

yes thats fine mate ill call tails
I think the best way to do this is to get ironside to toss a coin for us - that suit you mate? Nakor - I see quite a few bowlers around like that for < £20k. Admittedly I don't watch them to the end of the auction though. I'd say you can get away with feeble stamina if you bowl sets of 5. Obviously higher is better but when you're just looking to put a team together at the start I'd be happy with feeble.

best thing to do is wait for the new season people will be getting rid of players to make room for new 17 year olds ( i think) with the extra players on the market prices will come down
