he doesn't go for a late night pedal-lo as well by any chance?
He made 75 in 67 balls before being dismissed unluckily, I'll let him off.
If it was lager, I'd sack him.

End of Over 25: 127-3, runrate=5.08, reqrunrate=7.88 (323-7)
Reasonably confident.
End of Over 28: 142-3, runrate=5.07, reqrunrate=7.41 (304-9)
Your scenario looks very similar to mine, except I'm chasing the runs in my game!

End of Over 28: 133-2, runrate=4.75, reqrunrate=8.73 (324-4)
My most expensive (in run terms) bowler having only 1 over left, it's looking good!

End of Over 30: 148-4, runrate=4.93, reqrunrate=8.80 (323-7)
Looking good, my dodgy seamer bowled his overs and my 2 best bowlers still have 5 overs each left to bowl. Still 5 overs to come from my proficient wicketkeeper/abmysmal medium pacer to come.

this is what i have to put up with
oakway is an all rounder
barry doesnt know which way to hold a bat
31.1 W Cantrell to Oatway
Oatway plays a fullish ball straight and hard back to Cantrell. The ball hits his arm before going straight up in the air for a dolly of a catch.
End of Over 31: 127-7, runrate=4.10, reqrunrate=5.05 (222-9)
Brown 9-1-35-1
Oatway* 27 (37 balls)
Barry 9 (25 balls)
Last Wicket: Zia c. Rifler b. Brown 36 (FOW: 109/7)
30.6 . Brown to Barry
Played a solid forward defensive stroke, fielded by Brown.
30.5 . Brown to Barry
On the back foot, played around to the on.
30.4 2 Brown to Barry
Pushed past mid off, giving the batsmen plenty of time to come back for two.
30.3 . Brown to Barry
Ooh, well bowled. Cutting back into the batsman who adjusts and turns it to leg.
30.2 . Brown to Barry
Stroked back to Brown off the front foot.
30.1 . Brown to Barry
Flicked around to short leg.
End of Over 30: 125-7, runrate=4.17, reqrunrate=4.90 (222-9)
Swift 5-0-23-0
Barry* 7 (19 balls)
Oatway 27 (37 balls)
Last Wicket: Zia c. Rifler b. Brown 36 (FOW: 109/7)
29.6 1 Swift to Barry
He's played that sweep shot with terrific power. Goes to the fielder on the boundary so quickly that they only get a single there.
29.5 . Swift to Barry
Full and straight, firmly driven straight to mid on.
29.4 . Swift to Barry
Barry plays and misses and it's taken by Weight.
29.3 . Swift to Barry
no run, attempts the pull and misses
29.2 . Swift to Barry
Swift cramps Barry up and restricts his ability to score.
29.1 1 Swift to Oatway
On the back foot, stroked down to deep backward point for the single.
games over for me even though they have 3 really weak bowlers my batsmen couldnt see off there openers and my tail cant take advantage

7. Rocky Oatway (1172351)
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, proficient batting form, strong bowling form, changeable
A steady player with woeful leadership skills and
abysmal experience.
A more experienced player would farm the strike...

Alas nil points for the Magicians.
I am guessing that about my only chance for a point all season.
Oh well the pressure is off I guess

This is an indication of what I'm up against this season. I had this down as one of my easier fixtures as Stumblers don't have the same strength in depth as some of the other squads but, based on today's starting 11's, this shows the difference in BT rating of the two sides.
The other two teams who have come up are of a similar standard to me (ie. they don't have the 20k plus players like the other teams so realistically I need 4 wins from those games to finish 3rd from bottom and hope to get a favourable play-off game.

End of Over 35: 201-5, runrate=5.74, reqrunrate=7.33 (310-8)
Knowles 6-1-34-0
Trueman* 61 (78 balls)
Monkhouse 38 (44 balls)
Last Wicket: Arrowsmith lbw b. Berry 18 (FOW: 108/5)
getting a bit worried now - with 15 overs to go the target is nearly down to under 100 and havent taken a wicket in ages, they've nearly made 100 partnership for 6th wicket

Good luck Curtis!
You could TIE when you know your beat and target the weaker teams with GFIs.

Utterly abject batting display (152 all out) sees me lose a must win game
