i am in trouble havent made that many runs in a long time
its a spinners pitch too so i am expecting a couple of good spinners keeping the score down

End of Over 50: 286-4, runrate=5.72 Two ways to look at this batting performance. It was a flat wicket, so ideal conditions for the batsmen. Consequently, I'd have thought a score of 300+ would be needed to be competitive. BUT The record score for a team batting second on this ground is 220. So, in summary....  |

can i conseed next weeks game just now? good news not lost a week yet (bok) bad news is i dropped my on form batsman for today good news i put in a couple of trainees meaning i am batting to 7 |

he was sending me PMs last night claiming he was playing for 2nd behind me
i was too polite to tell him where i think he can shove 2nd
he should on paper walk our group
then it should be between you and i for 2nd as matts not had any time with his team
but i am trying to use the cup to get some form on my out of form players and also blood my trainees so if matts got his best team out there he could pull off a shock or 2

Ha ha very true.. however you do have a better team than me.. so I need a good bit of luck somewhere.. got my only 2 batters in now.. and they're going for it.. 72-4 from 12... at least I'm going 6 an over... got my in form mediocre class batsman in.. hit 110 in last game in rapid time... could do with something similar |

yeah its about my 5th game.. ripped my team to shreds.. kept just 2 of them... picked up some bargains.. however most havent fired yet... my bowling is particularly in need..
got a proficient spin bowler... clearly my best.. playing on a dusty pitch to give him as much help as possible
and not taken a wicket in 3 home games lol

That ones kicked and spun out of the rough and Mcewan can only look on in disbelief as his stumps are disturbed.
so 34.3 overs left with a lovely long tail.. whom usually last 3/4 overs and score 5/6 runs between them
