Gutted - too little, too late from my bowlers.

And that's the end of the match. KBOTW won by 1 wickets.
SheriffsStars   286-4
KBOTW   290-9

End of Over 49: 290-9, runrate=5.92
Paki   9-0-59-2
Mcintyre*   2 (2 balls)
   31 (20 balls)

48.3    6   Paki to Healy
That one's been taken to the cleaners! Great shot to move the score on by another six runs.

Phew.  Managed to get my batsman on strike and he promptly sent one over the ropes.  That was alomost a savage collapse.

gg sheriff, I thought you had me most of the way through then I managed to turn it around and then almost threw it away.

Cracking game.  I always did think my total looked a bit shy of the mark on that pitch.

That 4th wicket stand was the killer though - two solid batsmen there!

GG Bazza.

i am hoping i can bring off something special i managed a win this weeks league game when the guy had better report in every area apart from seam bowling (i played 3 fasts and 2 M pacers) so i havent ruled out pulling off a surprise depends on your pitch really and if your going to let me know in advance what type your going for so i can use the opposite in my league game (this guys is going to skittle me out and post a huge total)

My next league game is away to the top of the league team.

He has 2 very good seamers, 2 good seamers and a spinner between good and very good and yet he has chosen a dusty pitch.

Gives me a bit of a selection dilemma that does!

Very close game with newportlad today, coming down to the last over, pretty gutted to lose!

how many of his seemers are Medium pacers? medium pacers perform well on a dusty track

Flat or Green not decided yet.

so i will be safe using my spinners in the league match then my aim is to keep the net run rate reasonable against the favourites for promotion

his top 3 players will make mince meat out of my team

 9. Kevin Payne - 20 yo, BT Rating=63,168
LH Batsman, LM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with respectable leadership skills and woeful experience.
 8. Jon Matthews - 21 yo, BT Rating=52,395
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, competent batting form, proficient bowling form, invigorated
A cautious player with competent leadership skills and feeble experience.
 1. Nick Falken - 21 yo, BT Rating=40,071
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, respectable batting form, proficient bowling form, energetic
A cautious player with proficient leadership skills and mediocre experience.

his next 3 are all better than mine after that his team is on a par with me

thinking of going for the spinners pitch as he doesnt have a good spinner

putting my top order on very defensive and hoping to see off his open bowlers

ok it still wont work but its all i can think of right now

anyone got any tips?

Ironside your away arnt you on prob a green wicket. I would one of two things. use one spinner and the best of your seamers. Then either tie to get team fitness up or gfi or normal hoping he has gone tie. hope ive helped steve
