Wasn't sure what to make of todays league game. My next 3 league games are all against opponents in and around the bottom of the league with me. Now the past few weeks i've been delving into the transfer market to improve my squad so i'm hoping my team now is good enough to challenge the best teams in the league - but then my opponents over the next few weeks could have been doing exactly the same.
Anyway this week i brought in a couple of new bowlers, including one who is my record transfer purchase as my monkey scout informs me he knows which end of the bat to hold as well as being able to chuck well.
My opponent won the toss and decided to bat, good news for me as it meant i could see how well my new purchases performed in the team - the result.....
