hehehe - spotted this guy a while back and thought that here's an opportunity to make some money

Plays For: Matts Monkeys
Nationality: India
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 3,588
Wages: £877 p/w

Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: respectable Concentration: worthless
Bowling: competent Consistency: worthless
Fielding: woeful

realized it would take forever getting his stamina, concentration and consistency to a worthwhile level but knew that the "respectable" and "competent" in batting and bowling would be too good for someone to resist.

He cost me 9k, waited 6 weeks then transfer listed him for 50k. Unbelievably someone has fallen for it Grin (and on checking their history they only signed up for the game and received a team yesterday........)

sometimes i wonder how i sleep at night (and the other times i wonder if i could have gotten 75k for him!! Cheesy)

1 season with 2 fitness and 1 fielding net and he would be a tidy player

but then would you do more with those 3 nets

nah, not unless you've emigrated your team to India.

Was kind of thing i did to be honest in the first few weeks of the game, to start with i bought players if they had a really good rating and were quite cheap - this led to me having about 3 or 4 wicket keepers in my team by week 2. Cheesy

just to confirm,

Bowlers need bowling (obv) and consistancy, plus fielding is a bonus
Batsmen need batting (obv) and concentration?  stamina?

aye, when i've got a youth system that feeds me players like this

quite pleased with my youth pull this week - bit of training in the nets and who knows Smiley

Plays For: Matts Monkeys
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 4,664
Wages: £908 p/w

Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: woeful
Batting: respectable Concentration: feeble
Bowling: feeble Consistency: feeble
Fielding: worthless

that i can turn into this

Plays For: Matts Monkeys
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 6,103
Wages: £908 p/w

Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: woeful
Batting: proficient Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: abysmal

in 5 weeks i'll take my chances with the youth pulls. Had a good bowler after him too to be working on for a few weeks.

yes - fielding is always a good sign but not always a necessity in a young player, you can always train up in nets.

Stamina i think is important for both

stamina is a fast trainer though so dont worry if he is missing stamina as it only takes 6 weeks to pop a full level on 1 net

hehehe - and that therein lies the problem, 15 players and only 10 nets and every single player needs at least 3 nets each......

my maths aint too hot but i know 45 into 10 doesnt go Cheesy
