Some quality one day batting in my game too: Karthikeyan 19 (100 balls)
edit: he got out next ball!

Finished 7th and therefore relegated in the OD Div IV League. Too slow a start at the beginning of the season cost me. A comfortable 4th in FC Div 5.
No really weak players in my team now, so will try and develop some bowlers who can skittle out the oppostion for next season.

So today was my first big day in the transfer market, finally spending my hard earned, and I have ended the day shocked.
I was after a bowler and at the times I was online I singled out four possibles
BCharlton - Age ? Stam - Resp Bowl - Strong Field - Med Cons - Resp Sold for £1.5 million
?? - Age 19 Stam - Strong Bowl - Prof Cons - Prof Sold for £1.1million
?? - Age 26 Bowl - Prof Stam - Prof Cons - Strong Sold for £606k
S.Gerrard - Age 26 Stam - Resp Bowl - Prof Conc - Comp Consis - Superb Sold to a Blonde for £1 million
I am shocked at how much these players are worth or at least selling for, will be going into the new season a Batsman short or I will have to give up the 80k interest a week - decisions, decisions.

They don't look too bad to me, although I am out of touch.
Charlton - may be a touch expensive but with no age I can't say for sure.
Gerrard - maybe a touch expensive, did he have some batting? Although the superb consis prolly bumps him up a little.
I've got a £5mill budget for a keeper and can't seem to find anyone!

Might as well, or train 2 and sell 1 Only took my 3 seasons to get Birchall to where he is, mainly single netting bat and keep.

It's slotting any new trainees in around my existing 6 that is the problem - some should finish their training next season though so that might free up enough nets to get started - then add in stam and fielding later.

yep I need some good quality trainees this season. Only NEED to use 4 nets, which could be cut to 2 quite easily. After selling my all rounder, I should have 5/6m to spend... just to decide who to get to strengthen my side.. opening bat might be a good idea

I thought that but the only bat I have who seems to like opening is my all rounder - not ideal!
I have 2 bats, 3 bowlers and an all rounder training up, so ideally I need more bats and a keeper.

I have 2 bats ( 1 keeper), 1 all rounder and 3 decent bowlers who I think will do ok in div IV, tho seeing some of the teams I've got to play :/
so in effect, I need 5 more players... wonderful lol.. 1 more bat.. so I've only got 4 fillers lol
