Burning DVDs, dumb question.
«

I got myself a DVD burner, and some blank DVDs.
I just made one, but I think it's a data DVD.
How does one burn something that you can watch in a regular DVD player?
Not trying to start my own pirate empire here, just watch the American TV progs I download from t'internet in my bed.

It's up to your DVD player whether it supports +R, -R, +RW, -RW or all of them. 99% of modern DVD players will play any format you chuck at them.
You're probably right though that you've created a data disc rather than a playable DVD. How did you burn it? Right-click the file in XP and copy it to the DVD? That won't work. You need DVD burning software that will correctly convert your TV prog file (.avi etc) into the files you find on a playable DVD (.vob etc.).

You have to run a special finishing sequence on them to make them compatible with any player. Let us know how you get on with the porn.

Plug the mic in
Open Sound Recorder (Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment)
Hit the record button and talk.

hmmm I was thinking the same thing. Hot tub the night before and now making DVD's and recording his own voice (voiceover?)
More disturbing though is that everytime I read this thread I hear Barry White in my head...
