I ve just watched the last 90 mins of the PPV version of the Main Event on alluc.org and this dilemma occured for someone.

Just before his interview with Chad, Jamie Gold threw one of those $$ bricks into the crowd, I guess they are about $100k each,  then 5 mins later he turns to his friends and asked if they had got it?
" I threw 1 into the crowd so someone has got it" he says, obviously noone in his group caught it LOL.
Then you hear a voice, presumably one of Harrahs staff say " Its coming back"

My question is this. If you had caught it , would you want to give it back?
I presume Harrahs security made them, but is that right?

And those bundles were actually full of $1 bills - only the ones on the outside were $100.

That $$ bundle was thrown to his very large and tough friend who had been railing him for 5 str8 days. It was caught by his intended friend. There would have been little inclination to do a runner even if someone next to him caught it because this particular friend was one "Mean ass" looking dude (miles tougher looking than all the Harrahs security bitchs combined) who had also been acting as a minder for JGold.

Just a little playing on words Wink
How do you know it was his friend who caught the $$, Ron? You couldnt tell by the coverage, but it didnt sound like it was his friend. Jamie seemed a little anxious.
