you choose to sell carrick got an amazing price for him its up to you what you do with the 18m to replace him
you cant blame us for going out and getting Rafa you did get santini
i would rather have bellamy than defoe any day plus we have the best defender in the league not Carra but Finnan
By the way i do want spurs to win tonight

No actually we have the best RB in the EPL as voted by his fellow professionals last season - although Finnan has a chance to win this year!;)
Cheers for the bok...
I had a dream we won 3-0. Mido scored one, and I scored 2

how come spurs havent come in for him
he is young english and overhyped just what spurs look for
It beats buying average Spainards and has-beens/criminal British players
No it doesn't...
Lennon or Pennant?
Bellamy or Defoe?
Take out Benitez and Gerrard and your squad is just as good as Spurs'!
Benitez is a class manager - and he's assembling the squad that he wants (well, who's available). So you're saying without him Liverpool would be a lesser team, a lesser squad. But it's his squad, so that doesn't make much sense.
Gerrard has been pretty average this season (based on his standards), and it's churlish to say that our current league position is down solely to him and none of the other players. In fact, having been to many of our games earlier in the season - you can blame Gerrard for the fact we're not in a better league position. If he'd been performing as he could/should have been, we'd have got off to a better start and not dropped as many points.
Lennon is a class player - he'd get in all/most Premiership sides. Wouldn't have Defoe though. Not consistent enough, and over-priced (like Bent).
So anyway, my initial point was that our "average Spainards and has-beens/criminal British players" are doing slightly better than your "young english and overhyped" players. Which is true.
And I'm saying it has a lot to do with your manager and the fact that our key players have been injured most of the season - poor excuse but true.
I wonder how many games you would win without Carragher in CD (King) and Gerrard not in the team (Carrick)
Rafa's brilliant. Look what he did with what was basically Houllier's squad with a few additions when we won the European Cup. Then again, Jol is a bloody good manager too.
Carragher is essential to our success. Very under-rated, and it could be argued that when he's been out through injury we've missed him more than when Gerrard isn't playing. But we also miss Alonso when he's out (and when he was producing sub-par performances earlier in the season), we miss Sissoko, Garcia, Crouch, Reina as well - they've all been injured this season.
Not sure why you mention Carrick though. He's not injured, he's not a Spurs player.

The reason I mentioned him is because had he still been at Spurs we would be challenging top 3/4.
The point I was getting at is that we are trying to build something and it is pretty hard when you sell your best player, similarly if you sold Gerrard etc...

Is this right? Now I really rate Sissoko, he looks like he's a real class act, but since his injury (correct me if I'm mistaken) Liverpool have changed shape slightly (or moved players around) and really turned things around. Now with Sissoko back could this not cause problems again? As he is just too good to leave out but doesn't fit with the rest of the squad? What do you think?
PS Bent aint worth £8mil but West Ham are DESPERATE!!!

Garcia - 31 goals and as many assists in 2.5 seasons when he starts once every two or three games. Average?
Alonso would get into any premiership team. (Yes he's better than the $18.6 million Carrick)
Morientes was world class when he came but didn't cut it. He's now scoring again in Spain.
We've had two bit part players, who didn't cut it and were sold on very quickly, in Josemi and Nunez.
Apart from that I'm lost trying to think of these "average" Spanish players.
I'd rather have Lennon over any right winger in the league.
Bellamy has been class since his trial. Sorry but Defoe doesn't do it consistantly enough for me.

Essentially correct, but I think you also have to take into account the fixtures we've had.
The losing start contained games such as Everton, Bolton, Arsenal, Chelsea and United ALL away from home.
Against the middle/bottom teams I think we'd have won regardless of formation/shape.

No he is not worth 18 million and yes I would have sold him and brought in someone else, even on loan.
If they go down Charlton wont get 10 million for him.
Yes but when he returns to fitness and scores 20 more league goals the rest of this season to keep us up winning the golden boot award in the process then Chelsea will buy him for £35mil and give us Shevchenko in return (who we can then sell for another £2mil).
So in the longrun we will be £19mil better off
LOL! It's funny coz it's true!
