Looking forward to reading your articles again tikay.

I watched the Sky Poker preview thing last night. Your nose looked like either Sofa King had punched it or the Sky make up people had fitted you with a false one. wtf is going on with the massive hooter?

Perhaps it came from the same place as your head/mouth ego/belly?

Just joking. (Good job niether you, me or tikay are sensitive)  Cheesy

er the camera angle is pointing up his nose, or it looked like that to me at 3 o'clock this morning. even the most petite nose looks like the dartford tunnel if you're looking through a camera stuck up it.

I know what you mean. Just as even the most innocent post can seem rude if not qualified by an explanation.  Wink

There has been no real mention of how this forum started really. A lot of the original members here were THM veterans and used to go on there all the time when it was still popular and usefull ( I was one of the top ten posters year after year). Along came this strange old man onto THM and he started writing trip reports from the likes of Luton and Walsall which were good reads. When grandad left to set up blonde with Dave most of the keen posters from THM went with him. THM was going through a difficult phase were every other post seemed to be spam or flaming and blonde didn't allow either.

There you go, now you know. Its Tikays fault you have to put up with me on here.

Good times, i remember THM just getting worse and worse by the day then blonde came along, happy days!

Good luck with your new ventures  thumbs up

I am afraid it was always thus, well, since I was 14, & in the Boy Scouts. (Do they still have Boy Scouts, Dib Dob Dib?). We "played " British Bulldog one day, & I decided to send a message to the Pack Bully. Result, 1 broken conk 2 black eyes, 1 broken arm. Her got the messae though. I'm a pushover.

Telly does weird things though. I was explaining this to someone yesterday.

Imagine you are in a cardroom, playing poker. What can you look at? 9 other players, 9 other players chips, the Dealer, the Valet, your i-Pod, a geezer on the next table, the Plasma. Hundreds of things. And if you stare at someone, & they catch you, gaze has to be averted, it's not done. But when you watch someone on TV, in a "1 shot" (just you in vision) the peeps at home have got nothing else to look at, so they actully stare at you. And one's little (?) imperfections & mannerisms tend to become bigger, & worse. Maybe I should do Radio......

Last time i saw Jim was about a year ago!

I think he was very reliant on his coral affiliation and when they moved from party i imagine it hit his bottom line quite hard.

Since then, we have seen nearly 400,000 Posts, almost 20,000 Topics,& getting on for 5,000 members, though I reckon 200 to 300 of those Members were just spammers.

In January 2007, we had our 3rd highest ever number of Posts - 1,216, our 3rd highest ever number of Posts - 25,543 - and our second highest number of New Members, 336.

The Live Updates are as good as any I've ever seen, and the Home Page is absoutely first rate.

We have stuck to our guns as to standards, & in this respect, the Mods have done an absolutely terrific job.

But most important of all is the qulaity of the Members - you are the tops.

From everyone at blonde, we thank you.

Can't have set the standards that high - 18 months after first post and still not been banned!! Cheesy

A few  but i think that was a case of mistaken identity!! Wink
