I am so annoyed they have only 1 podcast. The show is the funniest thing on the radio at the moment....

he's an overhyped little shit in myhumble opinion..Not very funny and I don't really get why this horse faced baboon is found attractive by women...must be the Big Brother watching on a council estate living buckfast drinking Tracies who that.

Russell is actually very funny if he doesn't go overboard on the character he has developed. He has a quick wit and a good turn of phrase but too often allows himself to believe his hype.
His stand-up at the recent Amnesty show was very funny, but I tired of his radio show on 6Music and I would assume the Radio2 one is much the same.
Actually, there are a lot of similarities to Chris Evans. Chris was fantastic back when he was on GLR and when he started on Radio 1 as no one had really heard of him and he didn't have the ego or the circle of sycophants surrounding him. Russell is the same - he sees himself in every magazine and is surrounded by people saying 'you're the sexiest, funniest man in Britain' and so disappears up his own arsehole.

People with radio shows who can be funny but get too far up themselves when they believe their own hype.

Chris Evans was fantastic on radio 1, his problem was that as he was fabulously wealthy he found it difficult to get out of bed.

to be fair he had the perfectly acceptable excuse to stay in bed that is Piper. as soon as they broke up, he was back to wrok. Seems reasonable to me

Personally I think Russell Brand is the funniest, wittiest and amazingly cleverist bloke to grace our tv and radio waves in a long while. I am saying this purly on content of his brain and not his trousers. I actualy don't find him physically attractive but find his interests the same as mine.
Each to their own opinion but people that don't like him:::

the "bit" he did for Amnesty simply wasn't funny. He took a newspaper..read out the letters readers had sent in and made fun of them...Most of the jokes he did weren't funny and it definetly wasn't a new idea.
I just don't get why he's popular and definetly don't get why the BBC needs to buy up over hyped CH4 "stars" with license payers money.
