I've recently started a new home game and it's growing in popularity. Hopefully I wil soon have 15 -20 players. The lads seem to enjoy the poker and the grub, but I'm sure people will soon start getting bored of the Channel 4 Essential Film Soundtrack CD playing in the background - which leads me to the point of this post...

Once I've worked out how to download music off the tinternet I'm going to compile a CD for play at the home game (I'm going over the hill at 31!!).

Has anyone got suggestions for good tunes to play poker to?Huh?Huh?

Rob Dougan - Furious Angels, you will recognise stuff off ads, the matrix and top gear, it also has some tracks that build tension

The theme to the Rocky movies - "Gonna Fly Now" by Bill Conti. Win! Win! Win!

Well, at my home games, Johnny Cash is standard. Black Crowes' Southern Harmony too. And then heads up, on comes Audioslave to increase the aggression count Smiley

When I play I like to listen to a bit of Otis Redding...you also can't go wrong with Sinatra or Tony Bennet..but Otis Rules supreme.

I find a bit of gangster rap to be suitable.
Newmanseye would agree.

Good luck, and of course you must include the Abba classic "The winner takes it all"
