Oh I SEE. I do hope it's not derogatory - please tell me it's genuinely a term of endearment rather than offensive.

i remember when we used to play them at footie (obviously a while back now) we used to sing "yam not singin' anymore"" to their pathetic fans Grin

They got FANS? Wow!

Actually. Wolves were the first team I ever supported, back in the days when the first ever European footie match was televised.

Billy Wright was my Hero - I think he married a Beverley Sister eventually. (Beverley Sisters - a sort of hot rock group). Billy had 107 England caps.

And they had Peter Broadbent, someone Dooley, Ron Flowers, all heros of mine as a boy.

Manager was Stan Cullis, & i THINK the Chairman was Major Buckley.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

No no no no no, LONG time before Derek Dougan!

Seeley was another player in the same team.

It was different then though. They had a left back, a right back, a left half, well, you get the drift.
