I signed up tonight to look at the software and have a game on the new site. I am looking for a couple of sites as I haven't played online for a while now so am thinking blonde plus 1 more.

Signed my account up and played a freeroll to see what the gameplay is like.

Although it isn't jazzy , I actually really like the simplistic format and it is easy to use.

Get a pop up saying my username has not been accepted after about 30 mins of play.(smithy69) Now I am this username on every site I am registered on with no problems upto now, but it has been declined due to its graphic name.

Am I being pedantic or is this a touch harsh

Did you see Du'aine Ladejo play tonight. Norman Pace was questioning why he was making such small bets when he hit trips on the flop and Du'aine replied that he didn't know how to change the amount he could bet.
Had to feel for him as he hadn't been shown how to raise, but he did manage to call the all in bet when the river gave another guy a straight.

I thought it was just another celebrity poker series and I was going to give it a miss but I see they have really pushed the boat out on the celebrity front.

Howard from the Halifax Building Society ads next week?

It's not really a celebrity poker show - they're guests with a varying degree of experience in playing poker and they are there for players at home to take out and win prizes. That's why we're inviting poker players from around the country in to take part and why we have the likes of athletes, rugby players, etc. It's more about the enthusiasm a wide range of people have for playing the game. We can't get into chasing big name celebs - we're on air 365 days of the year and don't have the budgets of big chat shows. And I hear Howard off the Halifax ads charges big money...
