Good to see the Sky presenters know what they're talking about.

Just flicked over there now to 846, to see them repeating highlights from "The Open" from earlier.

Blinds were 10/20, Guy made it 60 on the button with  ...and the BB called with

The flop came out:

...and the BB checked, and the button moved all-in, idiot play obviously.

...but the BB then called after a slight second to think about it, the presenter then announces he needs a Jack or a 5 to take this pot down.

Cringeworthy to say the least.

Three and a half hours totally live commentating on their feet, looking at a projection onto a green floor ain't easy and nobody's perfect! Check out some of the guest comments - the presenters are doing a great job - generally!

Having seen the program live now I for one will not say a negative word about anybody who has to present live for that amount time...............their work is awesome. Please remember that the only person who got nothing wrong was the person who did nothing in the first place

give the guys a break- most of the ones off blonde couldn't even manage to stand for 3-4 hours let alone waffle away (I think tikay could probably waffle for 24hrs str8 tbh). They make the odd mistake but remember the presenters as a rule are people not known for being pro players, they are there to dress things up and make the show entertaining.

If you have sat a table with tikay you will know he regularly makes mistakes when playing the game (miss reads 7 out of every ten hands).

Sure hells bells won a huge chunk of change in the poker million but I would imagine 90% of blondites have played 100 times the hands she has.

Norm is a very good player but put him in front of a camera and hes a comedian at heart and his brain goes into entertainer mode rather than poker player (strange but when i sit at a poker table i tend to play like a comedian).

Tikays on again tonight so why don't we get as many blondites on there as possible and give granddad some real stick.

Like I said on another SkyPoker thread (we need more of them, and APAT threads), the programme's new and is bound to have teething problems.  It's definitely getting better and is easy to watch TV rather than an in-depth poker-analysis show for serious players.

Thought last night's with Curtis and Carlo was good fun, and Tikay is always good value (like he is in the Blonde tourneys...)

I don't think you'll be blinded out Rod, but you might find you've only got 4/5bbs at about that time
