This reminds me of a debate that i have had many times with friends, UFO's are one thing, yes UFO's exist, there are lots of Unidentified Flying objects to peple that donk know what they are looking at, its that simple.

Now on the other hand who can honestly say that ther is no life on other planets and we are alone in the universe?

Given the planetary population of the known universe its almost impossible that we are alone here, the odds are that there are many other worlds that are inhabited we just dont know where they are. Take for example the people of the UK, before anyone crossed the water to visit us, did we believe there was life beyond our shores?  probably not only because pepole at the time were too narrow minded to accept that possibility.  I believe whe have that same narrow mindeedness enmass across our very own very small planet.

Think about it.

Please notice i made no mention of visiting aliens or little green men, thats another argument all together.

I don't think anyone could argue with any of that

If they were going to, they would probably start here....

the usa apparently do test planes over Scotland. the most remote parts, out to the north sea, and not densely populated. it didn't happen in Glasgow iron Smiley or any densely populated areas such as your own remote part of town. theres evidence of sonic booms affecting Scandinavia from these test flights. very interesting to research this kind of thing and the deeper you dig the more incredible it becomes Smiley

Yes, but what about the Fermi Paradox?

Eh that's essentially the discussion underway surely? Scale vs scope and all that...

Yes, but what about the Fermi Paradox?

Ohh please, the guy makes one off the cuff remark and he has a paradox all of a sudden ( 1950 ), sure,  "where are they?" but this very subjecy could be debated on another planet elsewhere by similar beings.

One small note about the fermi Paradox, his reasoning was based on OUR communication methods, and our accomplishments as a race to date, hence  a simple solution to why have we not found anyone, who says that if a race if beings on another planet uses a similar communication system to us, and if they dont how can they find any signal we put out there?

soo many holes in that paradox, and it really has to be said that hiding behind that mans flippant remark does nothing but add fuel the shallow empty brains of the narrowminded.

Even a different race on another planet in our Universe would have to operate under the same laws of physics. If they're not using the electromagnetic spectrum as a means of communication, what are they using? And any other advanced society would produce a radio signature from their electronics / machinery, even if they're using another form of communication.

what about macnaharish? a supposedly disused airbase with the longest runway in europe and underground tunnels that go on for miles. it wasnt disused when i was down that way last year. in fact it was swarming with military Smiley
