Flushy gets involved with Barney Boatman, who called his raise in the big blind. They saw a
flop.. Barney checked and James thought out loud, eventually betting 6k. Barney calls.
Turn:
Now Barney moves in, for around 20k, over half of Flushy's stack. He's not liking this, and a great deal of talking ensues. "No question I was calling on the flop," says Flushy. "I'll show you if you pass," replies Barney.
"Will you show me one now?"
"If it was allowed."
Flushy turns to the supervisor: "Can he show me a card?" - reply - "If he wants to fold he can."
Flushy turns back to Barney, "Do you want to show?"
"Not really." It did rather look like Flushy was buying himself time to talk himself into passing, and pass he did.
"Lucky that card came to save you," said Barney, looking at the scare card turn. He eventually half kept his promise, showing the
. That had a real ring of truth about it, in my opinion.

And here's Gutshotter and charming rascal Nik Persaud. He now has a LOT of chips piled in front of him after knocking Paul Dobson down to a 'will he bother returning' 400 chips. If you're thinking, "Why isn't Nik smiling" then that may be because he outdrew his opponent with K-9 vs A-Q, Nik being forced to show when his all-in re-raise move was called by the initial raise of Paul Dobson and his A-Q, but a 9 high flop and that's virtually killed off the Walsall regular.

Rob Cook has been (Snoops do I have to say it? OK) Exterminated.
The shortstack with the ludicrously oversized Dalek card protector (which says things when you press a button on it) has clung on for a good two levels, but no more.
I think they're going 9-handed from now on, incidentally.

The Hendonmob are passing chips again (just kidding), with Joe knocking out Barny, calling with a draw saying 'It's go home or a chance to win the tournament time'.
Flop = K-9-8
Joe's J-T outdrew Barny's A-K with a 7 on the Turn and another on the River.
A sickened James Dempsey looked on in disgust because he folded 7-8 in what was eventually an 80k pot.
