Given that its very early on and you will need a lot of chips to win the comp, id call.
Im racing at worst and even if i lose i can get on the cash tables in 3 nanoseconds.
Chips mean choices. And i like to have lots of choices.

But in a bigger comp i fold all day long.

Nope, I'm definitely folding there. He might have Ax or he might have a pp, and I think a pp is far more likely which makes your call a -ve ev move. In late stages when the blinds get scary I'm calling but at this early stage there is no reason to take the risk - especially against someone who has been playing tight.
