i am in the need for a set of head phones but looking for a decent set that are comfortable and will allow me to block out noise without turning them up too high
anyone know of any?
this is a rush job

The best headphones I ever used were Bose noise reduction ones. I dont know if they are on sale in the UK or not but would definetely recommend them, used them on a transaltantic flight and could quite comfortably watch a DVD on my laptop without any background noise whatsoever.

thanks guy found this set on sale at argos where i can pick them up today what you guys think http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5346460.htmthey say 68% of other noise cancelled not sure on the standard but it doesnt seem that great

 Bose are the best! Buy Bose! Probably not going to be the cheapest but im sure you wont gt any better for background noise reduction!

where can i get bose today i can get to tesco's comet currys asda argos and a few other local shops  Bose are the best! Buy Bose! Probably not going to be the cheapest but im sure you wont gt any better for background noise reduction!

yeh thats where you are going to struggle. They are considered the best in the world but are so expensive. As such most high street stores eg dixons, currys etc dont stock them as not a lot of people wanna spend 100+ on headphones. Looks like its mainly online that people buy, but if you could afford to wait a week then im sure you would get them by then and im positive they will be worth the wait! But if not i guess sony must do a decent set in dixons or the likes!
