£49 at ASDA from tomorrow morning.
More for those like me who like the occaissional computer game as any kid would fling it back at you and demand an XBox360 or PS3.

I still play my PS2 and I love it. I'm back into GT4 at the moment, superb game. I only own about 10 games and only play about 3 of them. Normally I have breaks of about 3 months in between playing at all too, but you know you can go back to it and have a great game from time to time. Currently I'm grinding cash and grinding races on GT4 at the same time. Need to get money in both and I can do both at the same time  |

In the end I need a new DVD player, the games will be a bonus (although I may treat myself to a gun and play some shootemups to get out my excess aggression  ) |

The dvd player on the ps2 is ace, it plays all sorts of crap my proper dvd player refuses to play |

Does anyone know how to fix disc read errors on the slimline PS2. I think nem linked me to a ebay site which had a edocument for sale, bought it but only applys to the chunky monkey PS2. Any help would be appreciated as i only ever used it twice and it wouldbe nice to sell it on. I took it apart, which was fun, but didnt fix it!

I turned to the darkside last month, there are only about 10 okay games out for the PS3 and no great ones while the 360 has about 60 worth playing. Give it a year and I'd consider buying the PS3 especially when they reckon there will be a 25% price drop within that time. The Wii seems to be selling well but if I'm doing to be diving about that much I'd be as well taking up a sport as playing a console.

My mate bought a Wii for his daughter (she's  and it's great fun. The games like bowling and boxing are a good laugh after a couple of beers but I can't see it competing with PS or Xbox. I expect some of the games you can get for it are pretty good but sometimes you just want to sit and play the game not actually be the game. Great fun but that's all it is imo. |
