I was driving to work this morning into Norwich, when someone going round a roundabout cut me up, leaving me no choice but to swerve.I ended up doing 4x 360 degree spins before hitting the central reservation, facing the wrong way.

The car was a complete write off, and due to my neck they had to cut the roof off.

Have just spent 4 hours strapped to a neck board, and spinal board. Am now sat on the sofa feeling sorry for myself.

Hope ur OK man. How fast were you going to spin 4 times? I used to spin my old mark 2 escort a bit years ago being a bit of a boy racer. I had skinny tires and I'd say at 40mph I'd get one ish 360. To spin 4 times with modern tires you must have been going real fast and you were going round a roundabout? What car did you have? Sounds like if you had a 4x4 you woulda rolled it. Sounds like even tho it doesn't seem like it now you got pretty lucky.

take care

i was driving a rear drive bmw. Literally i was doing no more than 35mph as it is a huge roundabout which fly through at 50 mph plus. It had been raining so was skiddy, and as we came back from the hospital their is a car in exactly the same position as mine - facing the wrong way , with the central reservation damaged.

I swerved just coming off the roundabout, and ended up about 60/70 yards further on, thank god there was no one else driving behind

Did the police check for huge diesel spillage? spinning 4 times at 35mph is strange, at least the speed  washed the speed of or it could have been worse.

speedy recovery m8
