On Monday I find out I am going on Sky poker - (Weds coming)
On Saturday
My rugby team Leicester lose 10 - 9 to their bitter rivals Northampton
My football team lose 4 - 0
England get stuffed up by the Irish
I collect a parking ticket
On Sunday
Strip wallpaper all day. Have massive row with she who must be obeyed about me not going to Luton as I have an early flight to Italy. But it is the first comp in my new home. In the end I give in.
Switch on laptop and 3 hours and 35 minutes later I have qualified for Irish Open in Dubln.

Can somebody please stop the rollercoaster I want to get off.

My week:
Parking ticket - wheel clamped with a £115 "release fee"! Three unclamping vans later and the clamps still on. Padlock is so old with rust that they can't release it. Have to wait 30 mins for a flat bed lorry to pick up my car, get taken to the car pound and they have to use a circular saw to cut the padlock off! All because I parked in a resident's only zone for 10 minutes. My fault for not spotting it, but I'm sure these parking attendents hide on street corners waiting for cars they don't recognise and spring to get that ticket/clamp on ASAP.

Car service - phone up garage. "That'll be £430 sir"... "How much...!!!". Yep, I did hear it right first time. Ask them to look at some other bits. Get a call an hour later; "That'll be £730 sir". "You what...!!!". Turns out my brakes are shot and I need a new steering column switch (whatever one of those is...). Daylight robbery!

Only saving grace was the £2k Luton Grosvenor freeroll; managed to play my way to a 3 way chop for £500.

Can only hope this week's less expensive!

Oh... and congrats Phil on qualifying for Ireland.
