Cheer Up
«
on:

I think it is about time I cheered up. I think for some reason that something big is gonna happen in the next few months. Gonna lay a 1/100 shot on betfair for 1000's which then gets beat, or am gonna fish my way to a huge poker torni.
The last 4 months have been utter shite, and after sitting on the train this morning - i have decided to perk up, chin up and get on with it. My head has been up my ass for a while now, and although everything that has happened - family bereavements, family illness, Arrested,Car Crash etc etc I think it is just a test that sometimes life gives u.
I have a gorgeous missus, and a beautiful daughter so it can't all be too bad, and I am a very lucky guy
So if you ever hear me being grumpy, send me a PM and tell me to stop being a grumpy Barsteward.
Thanks

You always have to remember that there are people more unfortunate than you. Kev for example.

I have been doing ok on the horse front, my old chap now works directly for one of the best jocks in the country. So I have been getting good winning tips, but no layers at the mo.I play cricket with a certain jockeys brother, who always has info on his brothers rides. The only problem being the info given is usually very last minute.
If I do get some earlier enough, I will of course post them.
Regarding the car crash, I couldn't claim a penny as I was only 3rd party and the police had no cctv or witness statements to get info on the car that cut me up. My friend works for a solicitors and apparently they can help possibly. My air bag did not go off, and as my car was only MOT'd a few months ago I think this is where they can try and claim. Usually you would claim via the 3rd parties insurance company, but because their isn't one its not straighforward. Their apparently is a fund set up for such instances , and this can be paid out at their discrestion where a 3rd party is not involved.
Any one ever had similar happen

air bags work acording to type of collision, so often don't fire, this is actually a good thing.
