Hi,

I was wondering is there a basic format for payout structures in a live tournament, or is is down to each casino?

For example what would be a structure for a £100 freezout with say 50 entries?

Thanks

depends on the casino to be honest but you'll find round about 10% of the field get paid in most (or atleast that I've played) so in this case 5 people.

5k in the pot. 300 5th, 450, 4th, 750 3rd, 1250 for 2nd and this would leave a first prize of £2250 for first.

That wouldbe a pay out I wouldn't mind Smiley

but it really depends on the casino.

Try searching for a program on t'internet called Tex's Tears, that will give you a rough guide.
