you cannot make a guaranteed profit by laying every horse in a race mate

There are alot of software packages out their which can help with betting in general, and make betfair a whole lot easier but it cannot be done IMO

Check out the Betfair Forum as I think alot of people have tried similar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BetAngel is one - you can lay all horses at a click.

It's a risky business though.  If you do it in running, you'd stand a chance I think if you did it at the right moment and conditions were right for doing it but it's high risk.

Saying that, if you know what you are doing, give it a bash.

I've only laid every horse once and I ended up losing, only a small amount but the orders I put in didn't all get taken which cost me the small profit.  I don't have the balls to do it again Cheesy

laying every horse ina  race is a stupid STUPID thing to do on the exchanges, because of the over round.

Laying of every favourite however is not a bad way to go. (assuming the favourite is shorter then 7-2)

The theory of laying all horses really applies in races where the odds are likely to drop to a certain point.   There are races where 5 horses will all be around 3.0 so if you lay them all, you're on for a small profit.

This is the theory that I've read about but putting it into practice isn't so easy.  Trading in general isn't that easy.  If you watch the Bet Angel sample video, matey that does it makes a nice £80 in about 4 seconds trading on a horse, but you give it a go and I bet you don't do so well!    That £80 profit could so easily change in to a couple of hundred loss in the blink of an eye.

Scarey stuff and not for the faint hearted in my opinion.  Of course I'd love to be able to do it though Cheesy

I had an awful experience in laying last year where i decided for some unknown reason to lay Hedgehunter and Forget the Past to place in the Gold Cup (not tiny prices either)

They naturally came 2nd and 3rd.

Profits can be made laying imo, if you carefully select a couple of short priced favouries each day to lay (obv studying the formbook massively to do this).

Laying at big prices is not for me, far too risky.  I do however love to get stuck into a short priced favourite (especially if under 2/1) if I think it will get beat.

You can make a bit of money arbing - backing at one bookmaker and laying off at Betfair/Betdaq.  There's quite often bigger odds available elsewhere so you can lay off at BF.

Almost risk free!

no, you back at say 10.0 and lay off at 8.00, guaranteeing a profit.  I have a calculator that lets you know what you have to lay at depending on what you back at to make the profit.  You're only looking at a couple of quid each time at best, but there's lots of them

pm me your email address and I'll send it to you if you like, I have two, one's a snazzy little program that includes the commission that BF takes into account, the other is a spreadsheet I sometimes use when I hedge bets (lay off after backing) to see how much I need to lay for to make a profit no matter what the result is, I'll send both to you.

I'll do it in the morning though as I'm off to bed.

The best lays imo are teams like Man u, Chelsea + Arsenal away at strong home teams such as Reading, Boro.

Quite often theyre still like 1.6 -1.8.

This is the only thing i lay nowadays.

Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal always win against teams like Reading though - overall I can only see a loss in doing this.

Better off backing them to win every game each season (individually, not one stupid acca Cheesy)   Man U have won 24 games so far, Chelsea 21, overall that has to be a profit surely?

That could be my new tactic for next season!
