...
10% Seats allocated by online satellites
5%   Live satellites carried out in the hosting casino
85% On a first come first served online registartion process

Sorted!!!! Which im sure is roughly what the will hill was. I really dont see a problem in this format!!!!!

I think this is the concisest representation of my thinking on the allocation process on this thread.

I can see that a draw pretty much has to be used for any small capacity event, but when this isn't an issue I don't see any place for random allocation like this.

The only addition to the percentages above (for the second season and onwards) would be 1 seat to invite the current champion back to defend their title.

I agree 100% Jon. and i think this will happen in APAT. I mentioned it to Des at Cardiff and he welcomed the idea.

EVERY main event from a sponsored  festival should reward the winner with an expensed package to defend his title, The Irish open do it, but they are the only ones who do as far as i know.

Is the blind structure going to be different from Cardiff, due to their being almost half the chips?

No, we have no plans to change the Blind Structure or the Clock for the Scottish Event. We shall aim, as always, to finish at a respectable time on Sunday evening so that folks can get home, & be at work the next day.

Anyone know whats on in the Gala on the Friday night?
Logged

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Liverpool were given the right in the Champions League - only seems fair otherwise the tournament is devalued...
