Yeah I read about that, but I'm taking a week off with wife and kids so will be away when that's on.

Good luck to you and your team.

I'd get there for first thing in the morning and queue.  Worked for people in Cardiff and at the previous events.  Get there early and get your name down at the front of the 'on the day' queue.  This means you'll get the places of anyone who calls off on the day.

thumbs up

No smoking in the casino.. how will I cope?

Not strictly correct. They have an area called "The Air Lounge" where you can smoke. It has no ceiling or roof, basically it's an open area with 3 walls &  heater. And no alcohol is allowed in the "Air Lounge".

I have just arrived at The Marriott, & once I've cleared my e-Mails & PM's, I'll come & have a nightcap with you guys, either in The Marriot Lounge, or across the road at the Gala Maybury. Mine's an Ovaltine, please.

Please note also that the Event will be covered by TV, for a new Poker Magazine show, that is planned to air on both Sky Sports & Sky Poker. More news about that, soon.
