Hand I just saw, a short-stacked Michael Westerlund moved in with and was called by Benjamin Kang's .

Board:

.....................

Quads with a King kicker wins. Though he does have 6 outs on the turn, (two Jacks, 3 Kings and the case 7)

Two more exits for you now, one of whom is ElkY (pictured below). Didn't catch the hand, but he was very shortstacked.

The other was Paul Kristofferson.

Michael and Benjamin had previously tussled, Kang pushing from the blinds against the late position raise. Michael eventually called with and found Kang with .

A painless board.

Therefore, there are 16 players remaining (two tables) - the blinds are about to go up to 4/8k(800).

Caught Henning whilst they were reshuffling tables...

"I'm down to 75k, lost half my stack just I'm playing well though and it's only 1 double up. I don't have to panic just yet."

Roberto Matic is OUT.

Standard raise all-in call affair between Roberto and Andrew O'Flaherty, the latter with the final decision which, incidentally, he made instantly.

Roberto =

Andrew =

Board = three diamonds

So much carnage, I'm going to just cross the names out with their exit stories.

Table 1:

(1) Benjamin Kang
(2) Henning Granstad (Pushed Queens after Holstrup raised and Westerlund pushed, Holstrup had A-A)
(3) Priyam De Mel (Lost A-K vs Katja Thater T-T after she was moved to this table, he then shoved K-7 in sb against Holstrup's 8-6 that flopped an 8)
(4) Frederik Holstrup
(5) Farid Meraghni
(6) John Conroy
(7) Mikael Westerlund (Pushed J-T after Holstrup raised, Henning Granstad called in too with Q-Q but Holstrup had AA)
(8) Dennis Bejedal

Table 2:

(1) Dennis Plejdrup
(2) Roberto Matic (See above)
(3) Katja Thater
(4) Peter Willers Jesper
(5) Patric Martensson
(6) Marius Sokglund Torbegsen
(7) Andrew O'Flaherty
(8) Ole Gammeljord (raised and pushed on an A-6-5 board with 9-9, Marius had called the raise with 6-6 and the set held)

Out of all the Day 2's I've attended, I don't think I've ever seen them whittled down this quickly.

Agreed, I'm really regretting not taking that bet against Matt from Pokerlistings about getting to the final table within 2 and 1/2 hours.

Flop = two spades

Marius Skoglund Torbergsen bets (sry, couldn't see amount) and Andrew O'Flaherty calls.

Turn = Two Clubs

Marius bets 80k.

"You're breathing very heavily, my friend," comments Andrew before folding, albeit after a dwell.

With 11 players left, the atmosphere has turned from hectic to tense, as perhaps players have started to realise how serious things are getting and that every move is a serious and potentially expensive one. For that reason maybe, play has slowed down, although just a tad, and we're starting to see more flops.

Consequently, this gave me a chance to take a few quick snaps...

Benjamin Kang is OUT.

First off he lost a big pot to Dennis Bejedal with A-T vs. A-2, all-in pre-flop, nasty 2 hitting the board.

Then his was outdrawn by Farid Meraghni's . Board read Two Diamonds .

Not a good 10 minutes for the German player.
