i booked my car in for a straight forward job to have a Sat Nav to be installed. This was a simple job involving running a cable behind the panels so that i could use my sat nav without having to run a cable from the cigarette lighter.
Anyway booked in and job done on time. Good news I thought until I tried to open my window and found the button for the electric window was now behind the panel so i couldn't open it. Clearly the guy that had done the sat nav had not done it right, so I booked it in to be sorted.
i collected the car and checked the windows and no problem. Good stuff and drove off, only to find now that my radio was not working.
I have now booked it in to get this sorted but dreading to think what might go wrong next. If anything does go wrong I am on the verge of a Basil  Fawlty moment.

I think it is a deliberate ploy to get you used to their phone number

Good news radio car back and radio now working. Amazing how much you miss it when it's not working.

I once had to drive a very knackered hired cargo lorry from West Sussex up to Leeds and back again, the radio quit working about an hour into the journey up north. Possibly the longest ever drive i've ever experienced, not for the distances but due to the hire vehicle with a top speed of 50 mph with a tail wind downhill, motorway's all the way and the added lack of any music, chat, or static just wasn't pleasant.
