The jelly that you buy in a little packet made up of little squares that you're supposed to mix with boiling water and then let set for about 3 months but you're so pissed off you just wind up eating it straight out of the packet in about two mouthfulls.

They stil do that stuff? Used to come in a set of 8 cubes, was helll to seperate them. Was it made by Chivers?

I thought it was 12 or 16 cubes?

Yeah, they still sell it.

Don't be daft. Eight cubes, I remember them as if it were yesterday. I think.

It was at least 12!!!!

How could you make a decent jelly out of 8 cubes Roll Eyes

It was 8. EIGHT.

As popular a metaphor "it's my train set" is if you somehow manage to use that as a prelude to a story about the 9:46 from brighton on a thread that has thus far been predominantly about jelly i'm throwing my computer out of the window

Can we keep this serious please? There is no 9.46 from Brighton, you are probably thinking of the 9.49, direct to London Victoria, or the 9.21 (change at East Croydon). Always worth considering the "change" option, as it gives time to explore the Station, but East Croydon Station is a dreadful place, & has very little to recommend it.

Here's a pic of East Croydon Station, note the dull & bland Class 37 in the foreground.

Unless you have sugar free jelly, it has plenty of calories - and if you have sugar-free jelly, it isn't proper jelly!!
