My wife had a cute little Lizard tattoo'ed on her bum just after I met her, ten years on and it's the size of a dragon.

I've got a very small tattoo hidden away but I've just had my friend design me a tattoo which
looks amazing and will again be hidden away but haven't had the nerve to get it done yet

If you've really thought through what you want to get done, then you'll never regret it. Even if your opinions change about certain things over the course of your life, they can remind you of who you are/were as a person at a certain point in time.

Well put, I've been planning mine for about 2 years now. Getting just about settled on the design, need to get the carcass in a fit state for decoration, then find a tattooist I trust to make my plan come to life.

Exactly the right way to go about it IMO, why rush into something you will have for the rest of your days.

I already have the tattooist, it's just biting the bullet on the design - which I guess in itself means I'm not 100% happy with it yet.

I don't think you should refer to your wife as a dragon.

Funniest tat I've seen was on a bloke in my footie team some years ago........it was Popey The Sailor, Popey's head was at the top of this lads stomack, belly button was chaps own & Popeys legs went down the front of his own legs..........the bit in the middle .....well you can guess how it looked, always got a laugh in the shower after the game!
Oh & before you comment....I don't make a habit of looking in that direction!
