Ok this is the hand Praz had early doors when hes passed a fullhouse, see what you guys think...

Praz limps in for 50 chips with   some guy on button makes it 150 mateyboy in BB calls praz calls

Flop      Praz leads for 300 Preflop raiser calls, mateyboy passes

Turn Praz bets 400 button makes it 1k praz calls

River    Praz bets 3k guy dwells and makes it 6k....Praz tells him he thinks he has kings full, asks him loads of questions trying to get a read off him and eventually folds   face up....

Button shows his hand and has Kings Full of tens

So hes not just the station we all thought he was....comments???

Disciplined fold but the 'villain' certainly didnt play it very well - min raise on the river?!

And a very silly hand to end the night, that involved everyone limping and shouting in a we-want-to-go-to-the-bar, or possibly a we-have-already-been-to-the-bar, kind of way.

Board -  three diamonds

Dewi -
Dr Aris -
Gregory Howard -
MB -  Two Diamonds
MB -  three clubs
MB -

... and so on. Totally ridiculous. The  Two Diamonds won. But honestly.

Ding Ding!  End of Day...

Meanwhile back on table Romanello he ended the day as he started it, raising non-stop, including under the gun, blind.  Two players on his table have managed to increase their stacks, however:  Ian 'hotdog' Fieldhouse (now on 37k or so) and Mike Tse (now on 42k).

We are going to be long gone by the time the final full counts come out (eta 6am) so I can just promise that they'll be sellotaped to the end of this update (and the beginning of the next one) tomorrow afternoon before start of Day 1B.

We have exactly 10 minutes left to buy beer, so I have to type fast, but I thought I should gushingly tell you all how much fun I've had as your pretend updater. Thank-you and goodnight.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I implore anyone reading to get their money on Ken Wong. 140-1 on Betfair. The guys one of the best tournament players there is in the UK, but his missus doesn't let him hardly travel!

You thought Rommanello could steam-roller...

Great play Dewi, all the best of luck for day two.

Hi Jen and Dana,

any chance of a pic of Gregory Howard. I want to see what my name sake looks like. At the first 2 events it caused all types of confusion and at Walsall I even got 2 starting stacks and 2 seat positions until I pointed out the problem.

Thanks Greg
