looks like a winner to me Smiley

You see that expression on her face as she pummels Mateyboy's knotted sweaty shoulders? She dreamed of a better life...

Incidentally, I ran into Pete Evans at the bar. Apparently he is embroiled in some kind of dispute with the casino staff regarding a glass of wine. He's very angry and they're very adamant, actually going so far as to check the CCTV to confirm their suspicions. The phrase, "Do you know who I am?" may even have passed his lips at one point. Oops...

What was the problem? Had he ordered lager?

Sorry sorry folks, it's time for another CORRECTION.

Matt Dale is in fact NOT out, he just moved table. He's clawed back a few chips, but he's still very short, with about 4000 chips.

No, I think it's ok, he was just wine-ing.

A couple of mid-level counts:

Paul Foltyn        5,650
Sunny Chattha    OUT   (actually, pre-dinner-break, one wrong spreadsheet count - we're not perfect, OK?)
Chris Bruce        33,000  (pictured)
Ash Hussain       9,300
Carlo Citrone     27,050  (hot contender for Climber of the Day having been down to just three chips in the first few levels)
Matt Dale          4,300
Stuart Nash       12,300
Barney Boatman  45,500
Kunkuwap           8,950
Roberto Romanello  43,000  (interesting table, that Boatman/Romanello one)
Julian Thew           19,200
Nik Persaud           9,000
Mike Tse              13,900
Jim Kerrigan          26,200
Anthony Nicholls    25,000

Trevor Reardon is OUT - his final hand being a straight short-stacked race 88 vs. AQ, but it was the previous one which did the damage:
He raised preflop with , one caller.  Flop:    He bet something like 1,500 - call.
Turn:    Not sure what happened here but I think it went bet;call again.
River:    Trevor checked, Matey (sorry, no excuse for this, but I deleted my last spreadsheet by mistake) bet - Trevor check-raised all-in and found for only-the-nuts knocking him right to the felt.

No sign of Martyn Cavanagh for a little while - I heard he was pacing the car park until he deemed it safe to come back to the bar.  It folded to his small blind (blinds 150/300 ante 25), he limped with .  The big blind autoraised (he judged, correctly) and Martyn pushed in for 5k.  Even though this was 30% of his caller's stack, call he did, with .  Surprised was not the word; a Ten helped the already-ahead big blind to take the last of his chips.

Players are on a break now. I fear for Roberto Romanello's beautiful stacks of chips while the players are gone - just a brush against the table from a careless passer-by and disaster!

The trio of Nash, Ngo and O'Flaherty, and that of Foltyn, Gourlay and Kerrigan, and that of Crosby, Stills and Nash (the other one).
