And here's the jovial and enigmatc PI Dick Slade, who has requested that we stop calling him PI Dick Slade.

"I look a tad gay there," commeted Dick after unwittingly adopting a male catalgoue pose.

Word on the Lacey grape vine is that we have four Green Joker Poker qualifiers.

Terry Grimley, Rick 'The Claimer' Trigg, Ollie Boyce and Cat O'Neil.

Yep, just a bunch of milling around the bar - spotted quite a few who played yesterday and are just hanging out today - and why not, I say.
Breakfast is due Dana for such a great job yesterday, and now we have Snoopy who's already on the case with photos.

Speaking of Dana, here is the mynx. Mad as a box of monkeys this one, as I'm sure you'll agree from reading some of her updates yesterday.

Bit round of applause fro the young lass who dealt up a fine job on her debut performance.

Look at these two scallies, Matt 'B4Matt' Tyler and John 'The Rockstar' Conroy, the latter fresh off his highly commendable 3rd place finish in Poland. Well, I say fresh, but he won't have looked particulalry fresh the morning after, especially after celebrating his cash and St Paddy's day by drinking er... EVERYTHING!

According to Matt and Nick, there was a newspaper headline today that said the most shoplifted item in Wales was a leg of lamb (!!). Whilst the Northerners thought it was quite apt for our Welsh friends, John and I thought they were pulling our leg, but apparantly it's true!

Finally, before I pop back out for a selection of early hands (and hopefully mega action), here's a random picture of a Tapir I took a couple of weeks ago at London zoo. I'd never been to a zoo before, so I was like a kid in a candy store, especially when I saw some of these creatures. A tapir?? Never heard of it, I'm sure they make them up sometimes.

WE HAVE ACTION!

Very early doors, but we already have our first all-in and call, Sid Harris being the assassin.

I joined the action right on the river, the former London EPT finalist, Sid, having made a 4k bet on a board of .

Sid had Pocket Kings, whilst the unfortunate fellow to his left (just a number at the moment until we receive the player list) held the Snowmen,

Player 1003 now down to 2.6k.

Bizarrely, and this is truly odd, Wasim Shaid (sp?) has become the first exit of the day, losing with a set of Eights to a set of Kings. The board reading K-7-8-7-5.

Sat 2 seats down from the newly chipped up Sid Harris, is this man, former Eastender (don't call him Beppe whateveryou do!) and Dusk Till Dawn's Michael Greco. No change in his stack, but he's in the zone by the looks of this photo.

My dream, apart from having MC Hammer making a guest appearance, is for them to play the Eastenders duff duff duffduff over the tannoy when he gets knocked out.

One of the few celebrating (I jest) the first exit of the day is this chap, 'One Hand' Rumit.

"I've not played a hand yet,"

Aaaah, that explains it.

Someone else who has yet to play a hand is Mr Matt Tyler, but I'm not surprised when you look at the fearsome line-up on his table:

Bambos
Womble
Mick McCool
Ian Nelson
Adam Stoneman
Neil Channing

This must be small fry for Roland, as by the looks of things, he's as bored as a guest at a tikay dinner party.

Having said that, he has won a pot, betting 600 on a board of three diamonds to rake in a few chips.
