64 players left, one of whom is this chap, Stefano Fiore, who just check-raised Ian Nelson all-in on a board of .

Ian Nelson rose from his seat and looked perplexed, but he simply couldn't fold his King and had to pay off his opponent's 7-9.

Nice check raise though that has left Ian with around 40k.

any cash games started yet snoops? how the welsh boys doing m8?

Dewi is OUT - Saw him with a pint, wandering down between bars.  With a smile, I might add - he said he'd enjoyed the whole thing, and gave me the short version of the Final Hand: "I had pocket Tens, he had pocket Jacks."  Dewi re-raised all-in preflop, not thinking he'd be called (it was a 25k raise) but the Jacks went for it, and were right.

One for the Welsh now. If you know Stuart Menzies and Jack Owen, then perhaps you'll be able to confirm that they are twins. If you only know, Jack, then check out the photo below of Stuart and give your verdict. Separated at birth?

That's because she was out after like the third hand (7k returning stack) but is a cool person - and hardcore - in the bar of their hotel this morning/last night drinking and playing blind Omaha until they started serving breakfast.  Don't ask me how I know that.

An annoyed with himself Chris Bruce pulls me over momentarily to share his tale of self-woe and confess, "Wanna know how I lost 20k" to which I replied, "Go on", which meant that I sort of did as a roving reporter but not as a human being who dreams of poker hands. Anyhow, Chris continued, "3 limpers and I had A-4 in the big so checked. A-7-8 flop with two diamonds and everyone checked. Another Ace on the Turn and I bet 3k. This lad (Andrew Feldman) made it 8k and I called. River was a rag and he bet 10k. I called only to see I was up against a full house, Eights."

Sad one for Cardiff regulars, one of their faves has fizzled out. A-6 vs. A-K, Ace hitting the Flop, left Doc Aris searching for the rail.

Now he can go back to sleep.

Tough one for Gregory Howard who was just dealt a harsh blow by youngster Aaron Elscombe.

All-in pre-flop.

Gregory =
Aaron =

Board =

The phrase 'Face like smacked ass' springs to mind.
