Thats not good, I was really fancying Ian to make a comeback as well.

My tip, however, is one of Roberto Romanello or Michael Greco. Romanello was flashy over the 2 days, but lucky, whereas I thought Michael was playing solid poker.

Hoss calls a 49k bet preflop from Kayshan (surprise).  Simon thinks for a long while but no one else is interested, including short stacks Ian and Dave Smith, even though in the small blind there's quite a bit of value...

Flop:   Kayshan checks, Hoss stares from beneath the brim of his GUKPT hat before betting 60k.  Kayshan immediately announces all in; Call just as quickly, and it's obvious why - he's flopped bottom set and is on the way to cracking a bigger pair (the only one which wouldn't have a bigger set now, incidentally)...

Hoss:
Kayshan:

Turn:
River:

They measure up the chips, and it turns out Kayshan Muthy finishes 9th, winning £6,300

If there's one thing Dave Smith isn't, it's tight. You only have to look back at yesterday's thread where he moved in with 5-5 on a T-J-Q Flop, only to outdraw A-K to stay in the comp.

Hi Jen and Snoops,

Has anyone realised that Ian has made his 2nd FT of this tour. He came 3rd at Bolton and was banned at Walsall. Good to see Kayshan made the FT sat with him for 3-4 levels at Walsall.

2 of my pics still in Rekwob and Ian Nelson but I hope Kayshan wins.
(Very good player and top bloke)

Personally, I think Kayshan could have bet this one out rather than committing his chips on a check-raise, especially with a flop this dangerous (think about all the hands Hoss could have). Also, if you bet out and find action on a flop like this, you know pretty sharply that your Aces are probably in trouble. Does that make sense or am I talking out of my exit hole?

Yep, all noted. In fact he's very fortunate to be playing this comp at all after his ban at Walsall. Fortunately for Ian, Danny (aidenson on blonde) decided not to have him banned from all Grosvenors, which he could have easily done.
