comes with some checking between Hoss and Michael, but the latter takes it with a 60k bet at this point.

Small blind Roberto makes up the blind and Hoss checks it.
Flop:
Check-check
Turn:
Check-check
River:
Check-check Hoss shows 2-9 and Roberto's A-Q wins.

Roberto makes it 100k on the button, and Michael Greco announces all in. Roberto has to release once again, showing A-5; Michael shows A-Q.

First accidental word of the day comes from The Hoss who, during a hand in which Roberto took the blinds with A-K, let the ol ' F word slip out. Oopsy daisy.
Still, he's quite a way behind Shaf's current record.

Whilst Jen and Snoopy have been busy recording the action for the blondites, i've been scampering around grabbing interviews and managed to collar Ellliot Bowker and Simon Zach.I hope neither minds me posting a very small tidbit here, if so please PM me.
Simon was very happy with how he'd played. Saying, "I never outdrew anyone once and the one time I wanted too, (A-5 vs Eights) it didn't happen. I love these tournaments and i'll be playing every one."
Meanwhile for Elliot, who btw has an incredible memory for hands he's played, blinds, positions, stack sizes etc. said he was 'card dead' at the final table said he'd played mostly 'small ball' for the tournament, had enjoyed it and should've played his final hand differently.

In this hand Hoss had limped on the button, and considered Roberto's preflop raise for a good while. When he showed the AK Roberto said, "You think I'm raising with nothing?" to which he received an affirmative reply. "Remember the last hand? [QQ vs. AK] You were the one who got lucky..." This in reference to Hoss claiming that that rivered wheel which kept Roberto's Queens in the tournament was lucky for him, whereas all the money had indeed gone in preflop.

I was sat with Elliott for 3 hours on the first day, rekwob he's known around on the net, if you do a google search you'll find him. He pushed on me with a flush draw in the first hour! So I doubt he played too much 'small ball', very quiet guy, but a good player, can understand why he succeeds in the game. I actually tipped him or the greco to win last night when down to 3 tables, hopefully my latter prediction will be correct (I railed greco's table for couple hours yesterday, and he played very well. He does seem to get a little frustrated though, that would be one thing I picked up on, but has a good understanding of everything, and really has come on since I last saw him in a TV tourn.

Hoss and Roberto reach the Turn on a board of
.
Roberto bets 40k and Hoss calls.
River =
Roberto picks up a stack of red chips and is about to drop them across the line when Hoss says, "I know you haven't got a King, don't bother".
Roberto, being a fan of chit-chat, stops, draws back his hand and replies, "I know I haven't got a Jack, but I think I'm ahead."
He then goes on to ask, "If I check, will you bet it, be honest now."
Hoss hesitates before answering, "I'm going to bet."
"Honestly?" asks Roberto.
"Yes."
"Okay, I check," says Roberto.
And with this, Hoss checks behind him and shows A-9, a pair but way behind Roberto's J-T, the latter clearly believing his opponent was going to stay true to his word.
The questions is, however, should the verbal declaration be binding?

Threeway Flop:
Roberto calls the flop bet from Michael (notice how I can leave ambiguity of amount without making it really obvious I don't know it).
Turn:
Roberto checks, Michael bets 80k, call.
River:
Roberto checks, Michael shows K-J for trips, while Roberto shows pocket Sixes. Another to Greco.
_________________________________
check-check-check (there really are a lot of these threeway limp-check flops)
Turn:
Hoss checks, Michael bets 60k, Roberto calls instantly. "You never believe me," says Greco. "I don't know what to believe..."
River:
Michael checks - check behind Q-8 for Michael beating Roberto's T-J
Roberto likes the flop play: "It's much better now - I'm enjoying this," despite conceding quite a few small pots to his neighbour in the last half hour.

he did mention that hand, but then, he said he got moved to a table on day one, where there were a lot of big stacks and he at the time had around 15-20k, he found aces vs kings, doubled up and then played it pretty tight.

VERBAL DECLARATIONS BEING BINDING.. well the grovensor has a policy in some of their casinos that moody is permitted, therefore, you can say what you want...not sure what the cardiff club rule is though.........
