I would like to say a big thank you to Simon Trumper.
About a month ago i recieved an e-mail from Simon saying i was eligible for a freeroll with a first prize of a seat at a GUKPT event of your choice. This was because of the confusion over the WSOP freeroll on DTD.
Anyway i had forgotten all about this, when last night i was sitting watching the covers go off and on in the Bangladesh v Bermuda game and my mobile rang,it was Simon reminding me about the tourney!
I quickly logged on and registered and the tourney started with 14 players!!!
The final table began and i was 10/10,but after a few timely pushes i found myself heads up!!
There was a 2nd prize of £200 and the other guy asked me if i wanted the seat because he was after the £200 to decorate his babies room.
So there i was after 2 hours of poker with a £1000 seat to Luton in August.
Many thanks to Simon for the phone call.A top bloke.

Thanks to Simon for my call as well - Fair play to you, you put things right in style,
I would have forgotten it otherwise, just sorry I didnt do it justice and managed to play like a complete muppet.

Well done and thanks DTD.

Looks like DTD could teach William Hill a lot about customer service.

Not a dig against you whatsoever. You were actually a GREAT help in resolving the issue I had with William Hill. It's just a shame that their customer service department totally ignored my complaint that my account being hacked into claiming it must have been my own fault and subsequentantly just ignored me for almost 3 months until they got one phone call from you and suddenly within 5 days I get an explanation that my account was hacked into by a chinese ISP and given a full refund.

I just suspect DTD or even blonde poker would have been more a little more proactive into looking into the matter rather than just ignoring the claim and blaming the customer. Just another example of who you know rather than a corporate gaint actually showing any consideration to a customer.

By the way I also got a voicemail from Aces and know of quite a few none blondes getting a similar call. Such service does make a difference because even though I didn't speak to Simon it was enough to finally prompt me to join DTD online site. This is in stark contrast to William Hill for whom I would walk miles just to find an alternative betting shop due to my previous experience with them.

If WH service is top class compared to others then god help the others.

Thanks, I do remember your problem but not the details.

As for the top class comment I was referring to Simon and not Hills in that line.
